Blessings on your day sweet friend! I just finished a new lesson for Kaleidoscope 2023 and when sharing the painting on social media loads of people wanted to learn how to paint it! I want this painting to inspire both awe and gratitude for the universe we live in. We will use a beautiful high contrast analogous-complementary colour scheme to create a captivating painting that embodies the essence of a little girl, representing all of humanity, reaching out to the expansive sky.
I’ve named this lesson ‘We Are Stardust’ partially as a reference to the song ‘Woodstock’ but also as a reminder that:
- Every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. We are, quite literally, stardust, emphasising our innate connection to the universe and its wonders. We are all cosmically connected.
- A fun tidbit: did you know that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth?! How crazy is that? We live in an amazing vast universe, let’s celebrate this!
