In this lesson, we will paint a regal, whimsical queen who represents the strength and power you can experience when you are fully present to all your experiences (both negative and positive) with compassion and love, when you really accept and embrace all of you. This painting represents us being the ‘queen of our inner kingdoms’ with compassion and love.

Last year, I made an expressive watercolour painti Last year, I made an expressive watercolour painting of an owl for Watercolour Wildlife and later last year, I made another cool owl for Woman Unleashed. Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint "expressive soul portraits" (omg so excited about this!) and currently editing the videos and LOVED this shot of one of the portraits mid-way. What I love about this way of working is that you can get all your raw emotions out and just make crazy messes to help facilitate all of the stuff that is going on for you and then you come out of the process refreshed and renewed and sometimes (not always) with an emotive, beautiful outcome, too! 😊 Check out all the layers and textures in this. Think at this point, it's about 30% into the painting process. It goes through a lot more transformation before it's finished.
