Each year when Life Book finishes running, Tam’s individual classes become available as a packaged deal. ‘LB2024 The Tam Edition’ includes in-depth mixed media art lessons, bonus lessons and taster sessions by Tam from Life Book 2024.

The lessons are taken from Life Book 2024; Life Book 2024 was a 12 month course where Tam and other teachers shared their mixed media, craft and well being techniques, tips and tricks. Tam’s lessons from Life Book 2024 have been put together for you here in this stand alone course Life Book 2024 The Tam Edition!

Lesson projects & themes:

  • Tam TASTER session: “A Creative Warm Up”. For this warm up session we’ll look at being present to our fears and we’ll look at tackling ‘blank-page’ fear.
  • Tam TASTER session: “Prism Affirmation”. Combine a personal positive affirmation with a colourful prismatic petal design. This blend of words and colors creates a canvas mirroring the beauty of scattered light. With guided instruction, each brushstroke becomes an embrace of self-expression. By the end, leave with not just a unique artwork, but also a rekindled belief in your creative potential. Dive in and let your inner artist shine!
  • Tam TASTER session: “Autumn Whispers”. Join Tam for a soothing art session where creativity meets introspection. Dive into expressive watercolor techniques, crafting a mesmerising ‘autumn fairy’ amidst the beautiful hues of autumn. Enhance the enchantment with a unique leaf stamping method, making your piece distinctly ‘autumnal’. But this class goes beyond just painting; it’s a journey within. As you adorn your artwork with autumn leaves; we will whisper wishes for prosperity and growth and focus on what we want to let go of; symbolising personal release of that which no longer serves our higher good. By the end, not only will you have a beautiful piece of art, but also a visual representation of your personal growth and transformation.
  • Tam TASTER session: “Panda Play Time”. Step into a world of playful energy and introspection in this adorable class with Tam. We’ll be painting a delightful baby panda, set amidst a backdrop of  plants and flowers, using expressive watercolours. But this class offers more than just a painting experience. As we bring our panda to life, we’ll explore its symbolic qualities, from finding balance to cherishing solitude. By the session’s end, you’ll not only have a captivating artwork to display but also insights into the profound lessons this beloved creature embodies, encouraging personal growth and harmony.
  • Tam TASTER session: “Perfectly Me!” You are perfect as you are! Join Tam for a vivacious and uplifting art class where we’ll paint a delightfully wonky and quirky bird, symbolising our unique imperfections and celebrating self-love. Dive into a palette of vibrant hues and let your spirit soar. This isn’t just about creating art; it’s about recognising and rejoicing in our quirks, channeling them into a masterpiece of self-love and self-acceptance. Let’s paint with joy, let go of perfection, and embrace the wonderful, wonky beings we truly are! Vibrant energy, upbeat vibes, and a touch of whimsy await you.
  • Main Lesson: “A Creative Warm Up – Seed of Life”. This session is particularly handy for those who are new to the mixed media art world and those who might be feeling a bit overwhelmed and unfamiliar with the art supplies and techniques. It’s also a helpful session for those who have a fear of creating with a heavy critic.
  • Main Lesson: “Moon Oracle”. Create a portrait of a woman at night in front of a bright orange moon. She represents an oracle, or a wise guide of some sorts. She could be representing your higher self, or an external higher being who will guide you through the year. We will include Sacred Geometrical shapes as well to support our goals and aims for the year. This painting will represent us bringing our ‘highest wisdom’ with us as we venture into the year. The painting will include meaningful symbolism and your word(s) for the year should you choose to include them. We will create a front facing portrait of a female character. I have provided a traceable file for those of you who feel a little intimidated by drawing. This is a time for honouring and letting go all that’s happened in the last year. We’re looking for some kind of closure and also to mindfully set some positive intentions for the year to come.
  • Main Lesson: “Whispers of Gratitude”. Spend some time with ‘gratitude’ and incorporate those things/ people/ animals/ experiences in our lives that we are grateful for into our paintings. Create a beautiful painting of layered, faded botanicals. The session will also include looking at using negative space, composition and how to create depth by using contrast.
  • Main Lesson: “Queen of Her Inner Kingdom”. Paint a regal, whimsical queen who represents the strength and power you can experience when you are fully present to all your experiences (both negative and positive) with compassion and love, when you really accept and embrace all of you. This painting represents us being the ‘queen of our inner kingdoms’ with compassion and love.
  • Main Lesson: “Sacred Echoes”. Create a soulful self portrait painting in a ‘paint over collage technique’! For this lesson we’ll look to transform a limiting belief into a LIBERATING belief!
  • Main Lesson: “Dreamscapes and Shadows: A Journey with Morpheus”. Focus on ‘shadow work’ and make a beautiful painting of the Deity Morpheus! A gentle ‘shadow’ personal development exercise is included with this lesson.
  • Main Lesson: “My Familiar”. Create a beautiful autumnal/ Halloween painting that contains a beautiful mystical cat surrounded by pumpkins. I mean for this cat to represent our ‘familiar’ which, in some beliefs systems is a concept that stands for an animal that shares a special spiritual connection with a person, acting as a guide or protector. These animals are thought to help enhance one’s intuition, energy and personal wellbeing.
  • Bonus Lesson: “Wonder Fox”. For this bonus we will be creating a sweet little fox who’s staring in awe at the snowy sky.
  • Bonus Lesson:”Self Love Valentine”. For this bonus lesson, we created a series of Self Love Affirmation Cards!
  • Guided Meditation: “Releasing Fears”. Part of Tam’s ‘wellbeing sessions’, a guided meditation to help you release fears and welcome in ‘the new’.
  • Guided Meditation: “Grounding Wonder”. Part of the ‘wellbeing sessions’ and designed to be a part of the ‘Wonder Fox’ lesson.
  • Meditation: “Gratitude Meditation”. A ‘gratitude meditation’ that you can listen to daily or whenever you’d like to connect to gratitude. Keeping daily gratitude lists, a gratitude diary, creating art with a focus on gratitude and/or listening to gratitude meditations can support good mental health as well as counter the ‘negativity bias’.
  • Meditation: “Empathy Meditation”. Designed to help you receive empathy & compassion for any pain, discomfort or negative emotions you might be experiencing right now. You can listen to it daily or whenever you would like some empathic/ compassionate resonance.
  • Meditation: “Working Through Blocks Meditation”. Work through life blocks and/or creative blocks. This meditation was first shared on my style development course, Ever After.
  • Meditation: “Honouring & Grounding Meditation”. Ground into the present moment and in your body. Honour any feelings/ thoughts, needs and experiences that are currently alive or present in you, both the negative and the positive.
  • Guided Meditation and worksheet: “Transforming Limiting Beliefs into Liberating Beliefs”. Let’s take a look at some of our limiting beliefs and let’s transform them into liberating beliefs! :)
